Job Description: Linde Canada is currently looking for a dynamic individual to join our team in the role of HRIS Analyst/HR Administrator in our Mississauga office.
Job Responsibilities: • Receives, reviews, and processes all relevant source data documentation pertaining to hiring, termination, employee status changes, special compensation, and/or special contract assignments for entry into SAP HR. Coordinates distribution of employee paperwork to payroll as appropriate. Maintains all changes/transfers and promotions within SAP HR. • Interacts with client departments, payroll department, and internal staff to ensure that paperwork is completed to payroll requirements and is received in time to meet payroll deadlines. • Interacts with payroll department (Payroll Supervisor) to ensure the smooth flow of documentation and timely salary or contractual payments; coordinates the resolution of payroll problems pertaining to new hires, salary adjustments, account changes, title changes, and transfers. • Provides assistance in the logging and tracking of documentation; participates in the development and revision of operating procedures pertaining to the retention and flow of documentation. • Establishes, organizes, and maintains files for all employees and/or contractors within the client group, ensuring that all files are accurate, current, and complete. • Analyzes specified employee data and generates periodic and/or ad hoc summary reports, as appropriate; may conduct special projects requiring the gathering and processing of information and the preparation of statistical summaries and/or written reports. • Acts as primary point of contact for field related questions pertaining to SAP HR and Manager Desktop. Will resolve 1st line issues and escalate issues to Global Help Desk as appropriate. • Will be responsible for training new users to the SAP Line Manager Desktop and Time Administration functions. • Participates as part of the North America SAPHR team on global initiatives. Works closely with HR Technologies Manager for North America in coordinating user acceptance testing, sign off and identification of region specific requirements. Maintains global template data requirements for Canada and works closely with technical support team to complete all system relevant requirements. • Performs other administrative HR duties as assigned.
Job Requirements: Minimum Qualifications: • Associates degree (2 year equivalent college degree) or minimum 2 years analyst experience in a related HR or IT position, preferably benefits and payroll areas • Knowledge of SAP HR • Experience in reporting writing • Understanding of data entry and system administration process for HR Benefits and Payroll • Expert in Microsoft office environment with emphasis on excel • Strong analytical skills • Knowledge of HR administration work processes and work flows in areas including salary planning, facility closing, acquisitions, and divestitures, in an environment where HR processes were enabled through SAP. • Strong verbal and written communication skills
