Job Description:
We are a West Los Angeles based company and emerging leader in the growing prepaid/debit industry.
Product Development Managers are the architects of product offerings and the key drivers of product line success and adoption by the merchant base. They drive the vision & strategy of the product line and its delivery and execution across the organization. Our company is launching exciting and innovative online products in the payment space and looking to hire a technically-oriented Product Development Manager who will own the Prepaid/Debit product roadmap. This individual will use their expertise in the payments industry to make key decisions as we expand. Direct reports will come as our client base continues to grow. Our Company goal - to grow and develop the prepaid/debit business. We want an experienced Product Development Manager in GPR (General Purpose Reloadable) cards; someone that understands the players, technology, economics, compliance, etc. You will manage the company’s GPR (general purpose reloadable) payment card business; IE., define their offerings, pricing, business development, develop the relationships necessary to execute…basically, we are looking for a “General Manager” of this business line.
Specific Responsibilities will include:
• The product manager will take end-to-end ownership of the product, identify market requirements, define the product vision and strategy, create preliminary design concepts and lead the implementation of the overall product from concept to delivery.
• Define and maintain product strategy, product revenue, market adoption & penetration goals.
• Identify new market segments and opportunities and develop clear business cases for new products and features.
• Produce detailed product and functional requirements that will drive product development, testing and deployment.
• Work with marketing team to create and execute strategies for new product launches.
• Work with operational, support and financial groups within the company to define processes and systems to support product.
• Work with sales to identify target customers and channels for product adoption.
• Maintain and communicate a prioritized product delivery roadmap.
• Perform competitive analysis and identify areas for competitive differentiation.
• Develop product positioning and messaging that stands up to competitors.
• Regularly measure & report on product financial performance.
• Implement sales, marketing and development programs to increase product revenue and adoption.
• Support sales by participating in key customer activities.
Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree a plus.
Location: Los Angeles/Ventura area.
