Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced developer to take a lead role in developing and enhancing our highly scalable, distributed server architectures.
Responsibilities:
• Architect, design and develop enhancements to our distributed Java servers.
• Work with cutting edge technologies to develop breakthrough applications and internet services.
• Design and implement data models for new system functionality.
• Design and implement distributed network messages for new system functionality.
• Enhance the performance of core server systems such as the database and network communication layers.
• Work with members of our off-shore development team to enhance core product features.
Job Requirements:
Requirements:
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Extensive hands on experience in Java application development.
• Ability to conceive and design architectural solutions based on a variety of technologies and platforms including distributed systems management, network management, storage systems, web services and service oriented architectures.
• Demonstrated very high analytic aptitude and superb programming skills, minimum of 5 years experience in a development role.
• Highly motivated top performer, strong software design and debugging skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal and presentation skills, excellent communication (written & verbal) and organizational skills.
• Strong system level skills in operating systems, database, app servers, and/or system management skills.
Additionally desired skills:
• Development experience in the mobile infrastructure space.
• Experience working with mobile content developers and/or wireless carriers.
